Senior Technical Analyst

In this role, you will pair hands-on data configuration in platforms like CJA with tailored reporting and dashboard creation. Crucially, you can translate both technical backend setups and data insights to technical and non-technical audiences alike., * Partner with stakeholders to define and document clear business requirements.

• Take ownership of the configuration space within modern tools, managing Data Views, Data Connections, metrics, and dimensions in CJA.
• Build intuitive dashboards and reporting structures that directly solve specific business requirements.
• Act as the translation layer between technical engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders, clearly communicating both data configuration mechanics and data-driven insights.
• Manage workflow, project tasks, and documentation using Jira.

What you’ll need to accomplish in your first year:

• Successfully take ownership of CJA Data View configurations, creating and managing metrics and dimensions from end-to-end.
• Deliver clear, actionable dashboards that solve specific client or business requirements, proving the value of the AEP/CJA ecosystem.
• Establish yourself as a trusted hybrid analyst who can fluently present both technical architecture details and strategic business insights to any audience.

• 3-5 years of professional analytics experience, demonstrating a strong balance of both technical execution and functional analytics.
• Required: Hands-on experience using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Customer Journey Analytics (CJA), including Data View and Data Connection configuration.
• Proven experience defining business requirements and building dashboards/reporting to fit those requirements.
• Strong technical understanding of data structures to configure Metrics and Dimensions independently, without heavy reliance on developer support.
• Ability to manage client expectations and present complex ideas to non-technical audiences-explaining both the technical backend configuration and the “so what” behind the resulting dashboard metrics.
• Experience using Jira or a similar Agile project management tool.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Experience with other cloud and analytics platforms, such as the Google Cloud/Analytics ecosystem (BigQuery, GA4, Looker Studio/Data Studio) or Snowflake.
• Previous consulting or agency experience.
• Familiarity with legacy Adobe Analytics architecture and an understanding of how it translates into the modern AEP/CJA landscape.
