As an AI-Enabled Full Stack Engineer at Movir (NN) in Nieuwegein (hybrid), you build modern digital solutions for customers, advisors and employees. You work in a newly set up multidisciplinary DevOps team and use AI-assisted development to deliver secure, reliable and scalable software faster.

• Design, build, test and maintain end-to-end full stack applications across the complete software lifecycle.
• Develop modern front-end and back-end solutions using TypeScript and cloud-native technologies.
• Build and integrate APIs and implement automated testing to improve quality and speed.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development, reduce repetitive engineering work and improve code quality.
• Take ownership from concept to production, with a strong focus on security, reliability and scalability.

You will build modern digital solutions for our customers, advisors, and employees while leveraging the latest AI-assisted development practices and tools. Working as part of a multidisciplinary DevOps team, you will be involved in the complete software lifecycle, from idea to production.

What you are going to do

As an AI-Enabled Full Stack Engineer, you will design, build, test, and maintain end-to-end software solutions. You will combine strong engineering skills with modern AI capabilities to improve productivity, accelerate delivery, and enhance software quality.

Your responsibilities include:

• Create software that makes a real difference for customers, advisors, and employees
• Harness the power of AI to accelerate development, improve quality, and automate repetitive engineering tasks
• Build modern full stack solutions using TypeScript, cloud-native technologies, APIs, and automated testing
• Take ownership from concept to production, ensuring your solutions remain secure, reliable, and scalable
• Explore, experiment, and innovate, helping shape how AI transform software engineering at Movir

• 3-7 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer.
• Strong skills in TypeScript/JavaScript and experience with Java, C# or similar languages.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• API development experience and solid Git and CI/CD practices.
• Affinity with cloud-native development, containers and engineering best practices.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience).

Nice to have

• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.
• Kubernetes and/or Azure or AWS.
• Specification Driven Development and advanced automated testing., You are a curious and pragmatic software engineer who enjoys learning, experimenting, and continuously improving. You see AI as a productivity enabler that enhances software engineering rather than replacing it.

We are looking for someone with:

• 3 to 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer or Full Stack Developer
• Experience developing applications using TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar technologies
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or equivalent
• Knowledge of API development and integration patterns
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices
• Familiarity with cloud-native development and container-based platforms
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent level of working and thinking

Nice to Have

Experience with one or more of the following is considered a plus:

• GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or other AI development assistants
• Kubernetes and container-based platforms
• Azure, AWS, or other cloud environments
• Specification Driven Development
• Automated testing frameworks
• AI-assisted software engineering practices

Who you will work with

You will be part of a newly set up team that is involved in unlocking distribution channels at various Movir partners. In addition, the team has the responsibility to convert a significant amount of legacy code to our new high code standards. The team currently consists of 3 engineers, a product owner and a UX professional. The team is expected to be further expanded in the future.

• Salary between €5,030 and €6,707 (based on 40 hours).
• 13th month and holiday allowance.
