• Design, build and maintain scalable applications using TypeScript and JavaScript
• Work across the stack as needed, from APIs and services to user-facing features

• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript at a senior level
• Solid experience with Node.js and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs
• Experience with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular or Vue
• Good understanding of testing practices and tools such as Jest, Cypress or Playwright
• Experience working with relational or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines and agile ways of working
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Interest in or exposure to cyber security, threat detection or secure coding practices
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration, including Docker or Kubernetes
• Experience with event-driven architecture or microservices
• Exposure to data-heavy or real-time applications
• Experience mentoring or leading other developers
