Job description

We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Solutions Architect to lead the architecture and design of enterprise clinical system implementations, with a primary focus on Care Management and Utilization Management solutions. This individual will be responsible for defining end-to-end system architecture and designing scalable, resilient integrations that connect clinical platforms with the broader healthcare technology ecosystem.

The architect will focus heavily on FHIR-based clinical data and transactions, including how data is received, validated, transformed, routed, and consumed by downstream clinical applications. They will design integrations supporting Tier 1, mission-critical applications and establish appropriate integration patterns across APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures, and other interoperability technologies. This person will partner closely with engineering, integration, product, clinical, security, and business teams throughout the system implementation lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of the healthcare clinical domain, particularly Care Management, Utilization Management, care coordination, and authorization workflows, along with experience building enterprise solutions in Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Requirements

Experience as a Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, or Applications Architect supporting large-scale healthcare technology implementations. Strong experience within Care Management and/or Utilization Management, with an understanding of clinical workflows, care coordination, and authorizations. Strong knowledge of FHIR and healthcare interoperability, including FHIR APIs/resources and the movement of clinical data between systems. Proven system and integration design experience supporting highly available, Tier 1 / mission-critical applications. Experience designing enterprise integration patterns, including REST APIs, messaging, synchronous/asynchronous integrations, event-driven architecture, data transformation, error handling, and monitoring. Experience designing solutions within Azure and/or GCP, including cloud-based applications and integrations.
