Application Engineer

We are seeking an Application Engineer to support the design and development of custom motor control and electrical panel solutions. In this role, you will review customer requirements, interpret technical specifications, and create electrical schematics that meet application needs while ensuring compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards.

The Application Engineer serves as a key technical resource for customers and internal teams, collaborating closely with sales, production, procurement, and engineering to deliver high-quality solutions. This position may be based remotely or at one of our manufacturing facilities., * Design electrical control panel circuitry and schematics.

• Review customer requirements and technical specifications to develop effective solutions.
• Collaborate with sales teams to clarify project requirements and technical details.
• Specify electrical components, including brands, models, and part numbers.
• Prepare accurate and timely customer quotations.
• Provide technical guidance to procurement and sourcing teams.
• Partner with production and procurement teams to ensure efficient project execution.
• Participate in customer discovery and technical consultation calls.
• Support manufacturing teams by providing technical troubleshooting and engineering guidance.
• Prioritize urgent production needs while managing multiple projects.
• Travel occasionally to manufacturing facilities or customer sites (less than 10 days annually).

• Experience creating electrical schematics and wiring diagrams based on application requirements.
• Strong understanding of electric motor control circuits and related systems.
• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using AutoCAD LT or similar CAD software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-focused mindset.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and ability to manage deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with excellent listening and analytical skills.

Salary: $100,000 - $130,000 per year
