Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Delivery Lead to support an enterprise tolling and payment systems delivery team. This role facilitates Agile ceremonies, maintains alignment across engineering streams, and ensures clear visibility into work progress, risks, and delivery priorities.

This position blends Agile facilitation with hands-on delivery operations, including backlog maintenance, status reporting, work tracking, and cross-team coordination. You will work closely with development leadership to drive consistent execution, risk mitigation, and continuous process improvement., * Ceremony Facilitation: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives effectively and consistently.

• Backlog & Board Management: Maintain backlogs, work items, and dashboards within Azure DevOps (or comparable tools); create and refine work cards and support technical documentation.
• Delivery Metrics & Reporting: Track and report core delivery metrics (velocity, burndown/burnup, risks, blockers, and milestone status) to maintain end-to-end transparency.
• Operational Follow-Through: Document action items, key technical decisions, and project updates; conduct preliminary root-cause investigation on blockers before escalating.
• Cross-Team Coordination: Align with engineering managers, product stakeholders, and adjacent delivery teams to manage interdependencies.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively identify operational bottlenecks and propose practical process enhancements.

• 3-5 years of experience serving as a dedicated Scrum Master supporting software delivery teams.
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification required.
• Hands-on proficiency with Azure DevOps (or similar work management tools like Jira) managing backlogs, work items, and reporting dashboards.
• Proven ability to track, analyze, and present Agile delivery metrics.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a mindset of investigating blockers before escalation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Prior experience delivering within large-scale public sector, state agency, or high-volume transaction/tolling environments.
