Data Engineer

• Seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop, and support reliable data pipelines and integration solutions for enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Role will primarily support the Microsoft Azure data environment while helping the team transition toward Microsoft Fabric.

Top Priorities

• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines
• Develop integrations using Azure Data Factory
• Support Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Lakehouse, and Warehouse environments
• Optimize SQL queries, pipelines, data models, and storage
• Monitor production pipelines and resolve failures
• Implement data quality checks, logging, alerting, and recovery processes
• Partner with the Data Warehouse Architect and business teams

• 5+ years of data engineering, data integration, or ETL/ELT experience
• Strong SQL development and query optimization skills
• Hands-on experience building production data pipelines
• Azure Data Factory experience
• Azure SQL Database and/or SQL Server experience
• Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and incremental loading
• Experience troubleshooting production data workflows
• Python and/or PySpark experience
• Understanding of Git, code reviews, deployment practices, and CI/CD
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
