Job description

We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to oversee complex cybersecurity and infrastructure programs from initial scoping and planning through execution, launch, and ongoing operations. This person will combine strong technical understanding with excellent program management and communication skills. They will not be responsible for writing code or owning the product vision. Instead, they will ensure programs are properly planned, dependencies and risks are managed, stakeholders have clear visibility, and initiatives are successfully delivered. A major focus of this position will be taking program reporting, tracking, renewals, coordination, and operational responsibilities off leadership’s plate, while improving the overall visibility and structure around these activities.

Requirements

5-10 years of relevant experience in technical program management, technical project management, or a similar role. Experience supporting or overseeing cybersecurity and/or infrastructure programs. Cybersecurity experience is highly preferred, with the expectation that candidates will also understand infrastructure concepts. Demonstrated experience managing technical projects/programs from planning through implementation and operational support. Strong program and project reporting experience. Ability to build and maintain metrics, dashboards, executive reporting, and program health reporting. Experience managing dependencies, risks, blockers, timelines, resources, and capacity. Strong experience communicating and presenting to senior leadership. Ability to coordinate across technical teams, InfoSec, operations, leadership, vendors, and other stakeholders. Strong Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Ability to understand technical discussions and work effectively with technical teams without necessarily being hands-on. Hands-on technical experience within cybersecurity or infrastructure. PMP certification. CISM certification or other relevant cybersecurity credentials. Experience with vendor management and renewal tracking. Experience taking an existing reporting/process structure and improving it rather than simply maintaining it.
