Network Engineer - Systems Integrator

• Building, rolling out and maintaining advanced network environments
• Configuring and supporting switches, routers, firewalls, WAFs, load balancers and wireless kit
• Taking architectural designs and turning them into working technical solutions
• Owning patching, lifecycle management and security hardening
• Keeping an eye on network performance, spotting issues and fine-tuning where needed
• Following ITIL-based processes and helping improve the way the team works
• Coming up with new and creative network solutions for clients

Skills/Must have:

• Fluent Dutch and English, both spoken and written
• Solid understanding of routing and switching, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, MPLS/VPLS, policy-based routing and GSLB
• Hands-on experience with firewalls, WAFs and load balancers
• Wireless experience across vendors such as Aruba, Fortinet and Ubiquiti
• Some exposure to scripting and network automation
• The ability to take a high-level design and produce the detailed configuration and Visio documentation (LLD) to match
• Certifications such as CCNP, Fortinet NSE4/5, Aruba, F5, Citrix NetScaler, Azure AZ-700/AZ-900 or ITIL Foundation are a big plus, but a willingness to work towards them is just as welcome
