Cloud Engineer - Azure - 6 months, remote, to £500 p/d inside IR35

A Cloud Azure Engineer is required to join a busy infrastructure team to work on maintaining and enhancing the Azure environment. You will have extensive Cloud engineering experience with good knowledge of Azure, Infrastructure as Code, Terraform, Azure Virtual Machines, cloud infrastructure management and Windows Server administration. Must have good communication skills. The role will involve maintaining and enhancing the Azure environment, delivering infrastructure improvements through Infrastructure as Code, and providing ongoing support across Servers, virtual machines, patching, and infrastructure-related queries. Must have good communication skills and be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

As a Cloud Azure Engineer you will have the following:

• Cloud Engineering experience
• Microsoft Azure.
• Terraform
• Infrastructure as Code.
• Azure Virtual Machines
• cloud infrastructure management.
• Windows Server administration.
• Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with server patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working within IT support, infrastructure, or cloud operations teams.
• Excellent communication skills

Advantageous:

• Experience with Azure networking, storage, and security services.
• Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar monitoring tools.
• Experience with PowerShell Scripting and automation.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
