Job description

This is an exciting opportunity to work on both greenfield and existing applications, helping to modernise core business systems using cloud-native technologies, modern engineering practices, and Agile delivery methodologies., As part of a Scrum team, you’ll contribute to the design, development, testing, and delivery of business-critical applications. Working across the full software development lifecycle, you’ll help shape technical solutions and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable software.

Requirements

Previous experience within Financial Services, Banking, Consumer Finance, Insurance, or other highly regulated environments is essential., * Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET Core.

  • Strong front-end development experience using React.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript.
  • Previous experience within Financial Services, Banking, Consumer Finance, Insurance, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience working with AWS and/or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Git and source control best practices.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Desirable Skills

  • Cloud-native application development.
  • Experience working on customer-facing digital platforms.
  • Experience modernising legacy applications and platforms.

Engineering Principles

You’ll have experience working with modern software engineering practices, including:

  • SOLID Principles
  • Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • RESTful Architecture
  • Agile/Scrum Delivery
  • CI/CD Automation
  • DevOps Culture and Practices
