Infrastructure Administrator

The ideal candidate is a senior infrastructure administrator with deep hands-on experience across Windows and Linux server estates, VMware virtualization, and hybrid cloud environments. They have a proven track record of modernizing enterprise infrastructure through automation and Infrastructure as Code, while maintaining rock-solid on-premises operations including Active Directory, networking, and firewall management. This person is a self-starter who can balance day-to-day operational support with project delivery and vendor coordination, and communicates clearly across technical and business stakeholders. Must-have requirements

• Strong expertise supporting enterprise on-premises infrastructure: Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, storage, virtualization, and networking
• Hands-on VMware virtualization administration and Active Directory management including domain controllers and Group Policy
• Network configuration and firewall administration experience with SonicWall and Palo Alto
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep, Ansible, or Pulumi
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, security, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery concepts
• Hands-on experience administering public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of storage solutions including Isilon, Vblock, VxRail, Data Domain, and Avamar
• Experience implementing IaC and DevOps practices in enterprise environments, including CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks
• Experience managing third-party vendors and service providers
• Demonstrated project management experience including planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure initiatives
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and documentation skills
