Software Engineer (Full-Stack / Cloud, AWS)

What You’ll Do

• Participate in requirements analysis and software design
• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components
• Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, schemas, and stored procedures for our relational databases
• Deploy and operate applications on AWS, including containerized workloads on Amazon EKS
• Build and maintain data pipelines and support data analysis and reporting initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the IT department and with operations and clinical staff, in English and Mandarin, * A clear career growth path, e.g., Software Engineer * Cloud Architect
• Exposure to backend development, frontend development, cloud infrastructure, and data analysis

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java
• Strong SQL skills (must-have):
• 1) Relational database design and normalization2) Complex queries, joins, window functions, and stored procedures3) Query performance tuning and indexing4) Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Microsoft SQL Server
• Hands-on AWS experience, such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda, and CloudWatch
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Good knowledge of frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Passion for data analysis, with experience in Pandas, NumPy, and Seaborn
• Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, spoken and writtenNice to Have (Training Provided)
• Amazon EKS and AWS infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or CloudFormation)
• Knowledge of distributed systems (e.g., microservices, message queues, caching, and fault tolerance)
• AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect - Associate or Developer - Associate)
