Senior Full Stack Developer Java, Spring Boot & Angular

BNY is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java 17 , Spring Boot, Angular, and Microservices Architecture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications while contributing across both backend and frontend technologies. This role requires extensive experience building cloud-ready solutions, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and modern web applications.

Build, enhance, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices utilizing Spring Boot 3.3.x. Develop and optimize data persistence layers using JPA/Hibernate with relational and NoSQL databases. Design and implement event-driven solutions utilizing Kafka and Message Queue (MQ) technologies. Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment in cloud-native environments. Develop responsive and modern user interfaces using Angular 17 /19 and the latest TypeScript versions. Collaborate with frontend and backend teams to ensure seamless system integration and end-to-end functionality. Participate in software architecture decisions and technology selection aligned with business objectives. Write clean, maintainable, secure, and scalable code following enterprise development standards. Manage source code using Git and support automated deployment through CI/CD pipelines. Perform code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Technical Skills Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 development. Expertise in Spring Boot 3.3.x, Spring Framework, and Microservices Architecture. Experience building and consuming REST APIs and web services. Strong knowledge of JPA/Hibernate and ORM frameworks. Experience with Angular 17 /19 and modern TypeScript development. Hands-on experience with Kafka, MQ, and event-driven architecture patterns. Experience with Docker containerization technologies. Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms. Working knowledge of Camunda workflow/process automation tools. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including: Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB Understanding of software design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices. Experience performing unit testing, integration testing, and troubleshooting production issues. Cloud & DevOps Experience working with cloud platforms such as: AWS Microsoft Azure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Understanding of cloud-native application development and deployment strategies.

Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 8 years of software development experience with enterprise Java applications. 3 years of experience developing full-stack solutions using Angular and Java-based microservices.
