We are looking for a highly skilled System Engineer to support and enhance enterprise infrastructure platforms in a client-facing environment. This role requires strong expertise in OpenShift Container Platform, and Linux Administration. The engineer will work closely with a distributed team of engineers, engage with client stakeholders on a daily basis, and serve as an on-call escalation engineer to ensure rapid resolution of critical issues and high service availability., &bull Design, build, configure, and maintain our on-premises OpenShift Container Platform clusters. &bull Design, build, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server infrastructure across on premises as well as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure environments. &bull Automate server build, configuration, and deployment processes using shell scripting and Ansible automation, ensuring standardization, repeatability, and reduced manual effort. &bull Develop, maintain, and enhance orchestration using Rundeck to support automated operational activities. &bull Act as an on-call escalation engineer on a rotational basis, providing after-hours support and ensuring faster resolution of high-severity incidents. &bull Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance tuning for OpenShift Container Platform and Red Hat Enterprise Linux. &bull Engage in daily client interactions, providing technical updates, participating in operational discussions, and supporting service reviews. &bull Collaborate closely with a team of engineers across infrastructure, cloud, security, and application domains to deliver reliable and scalable solutions. &bull Support change management activities, releases, and production deployments in alignment with client and organizational standards. &bull Create and maintain technical documentation, build standards, automation artifacts, and operational runbooks. &bull Continuously identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and service improvement to enhance platform stability and client satisfaction

Competencies: 6-8+ years experience Windows Powershell Digital : Kubernetes Digital : OpenShift Container Platform Unix Administration, &bull Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform (installation, upgrades, cluster administration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management). &bull Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration (build, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting in enterprise environments). &bull Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and core concepts (pods, deployments, networking, storage, RBAC). &bull Experience with automation and configuration management using shell scripting. &bull Experience supporting production environments, including change management, incident response, root cause analysis, and participation in on-call rotations. &bull Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills ability to work directly with clients and cross-functional engineering teams.

Good to Have - &bull Experience developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and automation frameworks. &bull Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub. &bull Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios) &bull Understanding of security best practices, including system hardening, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks. &bull Experience with Rundeck or similar orchestration tools

Experience Required - 5+ years of experience in System Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering roles., Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Work Location (State, City and Zip) Anywhere in US Willing to work in CST hours Able to take off hour calls on rotation basis every 6 weeks. Handle any incidents and act as a primary escalation point.
