Head of Online Investing and Transformation Business Lead

We are seeking an accomplished leader to lead our US Online Investing business and help define the next generation of digital investing capabilities, client experiences, and market access opportunities. As the business lead for US Online Investing, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction, growth, and evolution of our self-directed investing offering as a differentiated component of UBS’s broader US Wealth Management strategy. In this highly visible role, you will represent the US Online Investing business in shaping the ambition, priorities, and strategic roadmap in partnership with the Global Wealth Management Transformation Unit and key Product stakeholders. Acting as the US business and transformation spokesperson, you will ensure that client, commercial, regulatory, and operational requirements are fully reflected throughout the transformation journey. You will: *lead the US Online Investing business and define its long-term strategic direction, growth agenda, and value proposition *represent US business priorities in key governance forums and partner closely with the GWM Transformation Unit and Product teams to shape and execute a shared vision and roadmap *serve as the US transformation lead, ensuring local client, business, regulatory, and operational requirements are embedded within strategic initiatives *mobilize and align stakeholders across the US organization, enabling timely decision-making and driving execution against key business priorities *manage market-specific dependencies and risks while ensuring successful implementation of strategic change initiatives *own business readiness, adoption, and realization of targeted business outcomes *identify opportunities to enhance client engagement, digital adoption, trading activity, and overall business performance *anticipate and respond to changing investor behaviors, emerging technologies, evolving market structures, and advancements in artificial intelligence that are transforming the self-directed investing landscape *collaborate across Product, Investment Solutions, Wealth Management, Workplace Wealth Solutions, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and Transformation functions to deliver an integrated and differentiated client experience *champion a culture of innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

The team

You will join the US Investment Solutions team within CIO & Investment Management Americas. The team is responsible for delivering a broad range of investment capabilities and strategic initiatives across the US Wealth Management business, including Advisory Platforms & Sales, Manager Due Diligence, Insured Solutions, Wealth Planning, and Online Investing. As the business lead for US Online Investing, you will work alongside experienced leaders across the organization and play a critical role in shaping the future of UBS’s digital investing capabilities. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders across Wealth Management, Product, Technology, Transformation, Operations, and Control functions to ensure successful execution of our strategic priorities and delivery of sustainable business outcomes.

*bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred *ideally 15yrs. leadership experience across brokerage, wealth management, capital markets, online investing, digital platforms, or related financial services businesses *active SIE, Series 7, Series 66 (or equivalent), and Series 24 licenses; if not currently held, ability to obtain within 60 days of employment *extensive experience building, scaling, and leading digital investing and trading businesses serving broad client populations *deep understanding of self-directed investing, brokerage products, trading behaviors, market structure, and digital wealth management trends *demonstrated success driving business growth, client acquisition, engagement, retention, and digital adoption *strong record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes in complex, highly regulated environments *proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and lead through collaboration across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, and business organizations *exceptional strategic thinking, execution discipline, and change leadership capabilities *ability to balance long-term vision with near-term execution while navigating competing priorities and organizational complexity *strong communication and stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to senior management and governance bodies *passion for innovation and a forward-looking perspective on the role of technology, data, automation, and artificial intelligence in shaping the future of investing *you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver and optimize workflows. Salary information

The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:

• United States - New Jersey - Weehawken min USD 325000 - max USD 500000
• United States - New York - New York min USD 325000 - max USD 500000 /annum
