Software Engineer

Build and own partner-facing APIs and backend services in a Python web application. Improve database queries and system performance, develop partner dashboards, and deliver integrations from design through deployment. Collaborate with product and commercial teams to support new partner categories, using metrics and AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery. The role requires independent senior-level impact in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment., Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Build and own partner-facing application programming interfaces and the backend services behind them, working across a Python web application and its front end. Tune database performance and backend systems so new partners can be onboarded quickly. Take features from design through delivery with a high degree of independence.

What you’ll do

• Design and build partner-facing interfaces covering transactions, reconciliation and product catalog data.

• Tune database queries and backend performance in a Python web application to support fast partner onboarding.

• Build and improve a partner-facing dashboard, using your own interfaces as its first client.

• Work with product and commercial teams to extend interfaces as new partner categories launch.

• Use AI coding assistants to speed up delivery and ship at a rapid pace., Develop and maintain CrowdStrike’s macOS endpoint security sensor using C/C++ and Swift. Design high-performance, reliable software across operating-system subsystems including filesystems, memory, processes, and networking. Own features from design through delivery, collaborate with distributed teams, troubleshoot customer-reported issues, and contribute to major product releases. The role requires strong concurrency, performance, and low-level systems expertise, plus effective use of AI technologies to improve workflows and decision-making., Develop and maintain scalable Java and Kotlin backend services for NinjaOne’s SaaS backup and recovery platform. Design high-availability features supporting backup, archive, restore, and download workflows at large scale. Collaborate with globally distributed engineering teams, own architecture and design decisions, mentor engineers, optimize databases and distributed systems, and deliver reliable production software using technologies including AWS, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, and REST frameworks.

Proven track record shipping server-side code in a Python web framework.

• Strong backend-leaning full-stack software engineering experience.

• Hands-on experience instrumenting metrics and tuning performance using data.

• Skill in shaping service interfaces and improving how data is stored and queried.

• High rate of personal growth and senior-level impact.

• Comfortable working with autonomy in ambiguous settings without a highly structured roadmap.

• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
