ArcGIS Online Accessibility Developer - 26-15344

We are seeking a remote ArcGIS Online Accessibility Developer for interactive Esri ArcGIS Online applications, for up to 37.5 hours per week, with a part-time schedule also possible. The Accessibility Developer will assess, adjust, and/or remediate an inventory of ArcGIS Online dashboards, storymaps, multi-page applications, and data visualizations to comply with new accessibility requirements. The Accessibility Developer will also harmonize nomenclature in public-facing content., * Evaluate public-facing ArcGIS Online content against WCAG 2.1 AA requirements

• Coordinate with project managers and content owners to apply changes and updates to public content to bring it into compliance with WCAG guidelines
• Document development steps and processes necessary to ensure future content is WCAG compliant
• Review public interactive content and modify text, titles, and labels to use the correct organizational nomenclature
• Test and coordinate review of modified content
• Work with Data Management and IT staff to deploy updated versions of ArcGIS Online content

ArcGIS, ArcGIS, Reporting Dashboards, Data Visualization Tools, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Project/Program Coordination, Data Management, Editing, Documentation, Problem Solving Skills, * Experience configuring and editing ArcGIS Online public content such as storymaps, dashboards, experiences, and web maps

• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to organization and documentation
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document technical work clearly in writing
• Attention to detail, with the ability to complete tasks accurately and consistently
