Backend developer

We are looking for Backend Engineers to build scalable APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations for modern digital platforms., The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performance backend solutions that support critical business workflows., * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices supporting high-volume transactions.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Design schemas, optimize queries, and manage data using PostgreSQL.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product owners, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end features.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Practical experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms.
• Experience building microservices and scalable backend systems.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and backend design patterns.
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills., * 5 years of Java Spring Boot microservices experience
• 3 years deploying and operating services on Kubernetes (GKE or AWS)
• Hands-on JVM profiling and heap analysis experience
• Load testing experience
• Experience diagnosing memory leaks and latency issues in production
• Experience triaging OOMs and P99 spikes
• Experience identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities (dependency/CVE scanning, patching)
• Experience with GitHub pull requests, branch protection rules, and code review workflows
• Strong understanding of Git branching strategies (GitFlow or Trunk-Based Development)
• Experience resolving merge conflicts and maintaining release branches
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with GitHub Copilot for developer productivity
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code repositories (Terraform, Helm Charts)
• Experience managing Kubernetes deployment manifests using GitOps (ArgoCD or FluxCD)
• Experience reviewing performance-related code changes and production hotfixes through GitHub
