Job description
- Administer and optimize enterprise Linux environments to maintain system reliability and performance
- Manage and support IBM Enterprise Storage solutions and Veritas NetBackup operations
- Execute vulnerability management, remediation, and system hardening to ensure security compliance, * Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems across production environments
- Manage IBM Enterprise Storage infrastructure to maintain high availability and performance
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for backup and recovery operations
- Execute system patching and package management utilizing YUM repositories
- Conduct and remediate vulnerability scans using Nessus according to compliance standards
- Support STE/STIN processes and implement system security configurations and frameworks
- Develop automation and maintenance scripts using Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet
- Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and support audits and incident response
Requirements
- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 7+ years
- Total Compensation: $282k+ yearly (tentative)
