Azure Cloud Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and customer-centric Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud infrastructure for our Enterprise strategic customers. You will bridge the gap among IT operations, system engineering, and customer support, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, Windows environments, and network connectivity. The ideal candidate will have a deep, solid understanding of Azure infrastructure, advanced PowerShell scripting, and a strong background in delivering excellent technical support. If you love solving complex network and system issues while keeping our strategic end-users happy, this is the role for you., * Cloud & Infrastructure Management: Deploy, manage, and scale Azure VirtualMachines and Azure Host Pools to ensure high availability and optimalperformance. Design and maintain load-balancing and disaster-recoverymethodologies.

• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI): Architect, maintain, and troubleshootAzure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments, ensuring a seamless experience forend-users on Windows 11 and Windows Server platforms.
• Networking & Security: Design, configure, and troubleshoot Azure Networkingcomponents, Express Routes, IPSEC VPNs, and enterprise firewalls.
• Identity & Access Management: Administer and secure user identities anddevice policies using Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), traditional Active Directory,and Group Policy (GPO).
• Automation & Deployment: Leverage Azure Automation and write robustPowerShell scripts to eliminate manual toil, streamline operations, and enhancesystem reliability. Utilize PDQ Deploy for efficient software distribution and patchmanagement.
• Database Reliability: Assist in the maintenance, connectivity, and basicadministration of MS SQL Server databases. Being able to analyze andtroubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures is definitely an asset.
• Customer Support & Incident Response: Act as a high-level escalation pointfor complex technical issues. • Azure Cloud: Deep expertise in Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Host Pools,Azure Virtual Desktop, and Azure Automation.
• Networking: Proven experience with Azure Networking, Express Routes, IPSECVPN tunnels, Firewalls, and general network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS,DHCP, routing).
• Microsoft Server & OS: Strong administration skills for Windows Server andWindows 11.
• Identity & Endpoint Management: Mastery of Entra ID, Active Directory, GroupPolicy, and third-party deployment tools like PDQ Deploy.
• Scripting: Advanced proficiency in PowerShell for infrastructure as code anddaily automation tasks.
• Database: Working knowledge of MS SQL Server management andperformance troubleshooting., * Customer-First Mindset: Exceptional customer support skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and patiently.
• Problem Solving: A relentless drive to troubleshoot and resolve deep-rooted network and system reliability issues.

• Adaptability: Ability to remain calm and focused during high-pressure incident responses.

Compensation: Trimble provides the following compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. This compensation range is based on a full time schedule. Trimble reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, or federal law.

Hiring Range $105,600.00-$145,200.00
