Java Springboot Developer

U.S. Bank is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help drive large-scale modernization initiatives across critical banking technology platforms. You’ll work with architects and engineering teams to transform complex technical strategies into secure, scalable, production-ready solutions that deliver business value at scale.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. You’ll help teams navigate complexity, guide implementation decisions, solve challenging technical problems, and contribute directly when needed. Success comes from technical credibility, strong collaboration, and a passion for helping teams succeed.

You quickly understand systems, evaluate tradeoffs, influence technical decisions, and guide solutions from design through implementation. You’re comfortable moving between architecture discussions, hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
