Manager of Implementation

The Manager of Implementation is responsible for managing client onboarding, system configuration, and implementation of UKG Ready solutions. This role ensures that WPHR’s implementation services are delivered with precision, timeliness, and exceptional client care. The Manager will lead implementation specialists, coordinate project delivery, and serve as a key liaison between clients and internal departments throughout the onboarding process., This role is accountable for the day-to-day leadership and continuous improvement of implementation services. The Manager will oversee a portfolio of implementation projects, ensure system accuracy and delivery consistency, and foster strong client relationships. The position requires expertise in UKG Ready configuration, effective people and project leadership, and a proactive approach to client satisfaction and retention., * Lead implementation delivery for UKG Ready, including project scoping, configuration, testing, client training, and go-live readiness.

• Manage the implementation portfolio, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure predictable, successful client go-lives.
• Oversee the configuration of UKG Ready modules, including Payroll, Time & Attendance, and HR, while establishing consistent quality standards.
• Ensure accurate migration of historical data and validation of system outputs through effective controls and review processes.
• Guide client enablement and training to promote adoption, readiness, and effective use of the platform.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal leaders to coordinate capacity, resolve escalations, and ensure seamless handoffs from implementation to support.
• Drive process improvement and scalability by standardizing workflows, monitoring performance, and improving the client onboarding experience.
• Monitor implementation quality, data integrity, and risk, conduct regular audits, and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Lead, coach, and develop implementation team members, fostering accountability, professional growth, and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to departmental planning and strategy, translating organizational priorities into implementation goals and operating plans.
• Support personnel decisions, including hiring, promotions, performance management, succession planning, and workforce development.
• Serve as a senior liaison between implementation and client services to resolve escalations and ensure smooth post-launch transitions.
• Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HCM implementation, applying insights to team processes and client delivery.

• 5+ years of progressive experience in payroll outsourcing, HCM implementation, client services, or a related field.
• 2+ years of people leadership or team lead experience in a payroll service bureau, software implementation, or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of UKG Ready and proven experience managing multiple client implementation projects.
• Project Management, FPC, CPP, or comparable professional certification is preferred.
• Advanced understanding of payroll and tax compliance, HR, and timekeeping workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, human resources, information systems, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams; strong analytical and reporting skills.
