Job description

As a Senior HTML/Markup Developer, you will be a key contributor within our New Jersey-based Product & R&D team. You’ll build high-quality, fast, and adaptive user interface layouts for web applications across our Digital Gaming and Fintech platforms. This role is ideal for a markup developer who loves turning designs into performant, responsive layouts, helps define Front End standards, and partners closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver pixel-perfect interfaces.

? What You’ll Do

  • Develop efficient, fast, and adaptive layouts for web application interfaces.
  • Translate design assets from Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop into clean, responsive HTML/CSS.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to refine UI/UX and improve the overall user experience.
  • Introduce ideas, solutions, and optimizations to enhance existing applications and Front End codebases.
  • Help identify and fix Front End technical issues, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and smooth performance.
  • Contribute to code reviews and Front End best practices for markup, styling, and animations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience as an HTML coder/markup developer.
  • Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS, plus basic knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and cross-browser layout.
  • Strong knowledge of CSS/JS animation.
  • Experience working with CSS pre-processors such as Sass or Less.
  • Experience with Git and modern version control workflows.
  • Solid understanding of web application performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma, Sketch, or Photoshop for working with design assets.

? Nice to Have

  • Experience with Angular and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with Front End build tools (eg, Gulp, Webpack).
  • Experience with CSS frameworks (eg, Bootstrap, Tailwind).
  • Experience working with template engines (Pug, Handlebars, etc.).
  • Experience with Canvas API, WebGL, ThreeJS, or GSAP for advanced visuals and animations.
