Job description
- Administer and optimize enterprise Linux production environments with a focus on high availability, performance, and security.
- Manage enterprise storage solutions and backup operations utilizing IBM Enterprise Storage and Veritas NetBackup.
- Execute vulnerability remediation with Nessus, perform package management via YUM, and develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, Ansible, or Puppet., * Administer, maintain, and optimize Linux-based systems within an enterprise production environment.
- Manage and support IBM Enterprise Storage systems, ensuring optimal performance and continuous availability.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup for enterprise backup, archival, and recovery operations.
- Perform operating system patching, package updates, and repository management using YUM.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and implement remediation actions using Nessus to maintain security compliance.
- Implement and maintain system hardening baselines and security policies across infrastructure.
- Monitor system performance, conduct proactive health checks, and perform root-cause troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management scripts utilizing Bash, Python, Ansible, or Puppet.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation covering system configurations, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements.

- Degree: Technical bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Years of experience: 20+ years
- Total Compensation: $348k+ yearly (tentative)
