Job description

Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Exchange
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot network services such as DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, and TCP protocols to ensure optimal connectivity and security
Implement and support virtualization solutions using VMware and other virtualization platforms to enhance resource efficiency
Administer cloud-based services including Azure and AWS to support hybrid infrastructure needs
Utilize PowerShell, Bash (Unix shell), Python, and SQL scripting for automation, analysis, and system management tasks
Oversee system updates, patches, backups, disaster recovery plans, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues promptly while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident reports using SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools

Requirements

Proven experience in system administration within a Windows-centric environment with a strong understanding of Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel
Hands-on knowledge of computer networking concepts including DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP protocols, VPNs, firewalls, and network security best practices
Demonstrated expertise in managing Active Directory environments along with Azure AD integration
Familiarity with virtualization technologies like VMware or similar platforms; experience with virtualized server deployment is highly desirable
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for infrastructure management
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell; Bash scripting experience is advantageous for automation tasks
Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly while maintaining excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Previous administrative experience supporting IT infrastructure within enterprise settings is preferred
