Required: Masters or Equivalent in computer science, data science, data analytics, information systems, statistics, business intelligence or a related field. A first-level university degree in combination with additional qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Additional qualifications or demonstrated training in business intelligence, analytics, digital transformation or decision-support methodologies are desirable. * A minimum of ten (10) years of progressively responsible professional experience in business intelligence, data analytics, digital transformation, data-driven decision support or related areas is required * Demonstrated experience developing or managing analytics, reporting, dashboards or business intelligence solutions for organizations is required. * Experience translating organizational or management requirements into analytical methodologies, KPIs, dashboards, planning tools or digital products is required. * Demonstrated experience working across technical and non-technical functions to deliver data-driven solutions is required. * Experience communicating analytical findings and complex information to senior management and non-technical audiences is required. * Experience supporting user adoption, training or capability building around analytics and digital tools is required. * Experience managing significant business intelligence or analytics transformation programmes is desirable. * Experience with data visualization, analytical modelling and data integration is desirable. * Experience advising senior leadership on data-driven decision-making and organizational transformation is desirable. * Experience working across different countries, markets or international organizations is desirable. * Experience designing and facilitating training or knowledge-transfer activities is desirable. * Experience working with environmental, sustainability, climate or open-data applications is desirable. Languages Fluency in oral and written English is required. English is the working language of UNEP’s IMEO. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
