Network Engineer

• Operate, maintain, and support on-premise, virtualized, cloud, and hybrid network environments across Cisco, Fortinet, Extreme, Azure, and AWS
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of network infrastructure, following defined operational and change management processes
• Manage and operate firewall and network security platforms, including firewall rules, NAT policies, segmentation, and cloud-native security controls
• Support and troubleshoot Kubernetes networking
• Operate and monitor hybrid connectivity solutions such as Site-to-Site VPNs, Client VPNs, ExpressRoute, and Direct Connect
• Act as 2nd-level support for network and connectivity incidents, analyzing escalations and resolving recurring operational issues
• Monitor network environments using centralized tools, analyze logs, metrics, and traffic flows, and proactively identify risks
• Execute network changes and lifecycle activities using Infrastructure as Code and Git-based workflows
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, incident records, and operational procedures
• Support disaster recovery testing, audits, and compliance activities
• Collaborate with an international IT and platform team, contribute to standardization and automation initiatives, and participate in on-call rotations, In accordance to the Belgian Law we offer our employees:

• 3+ years of experience in Network Engineering or Network Operations
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, VPN technologies, firewalls, and network security
• Experience with multi-vendor enterprise network environments
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills across on-premises and cloud-based infrastructures
• Experience with network automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Good understanding of Azure and/or AWS networking
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet, Extreme Networks, or equivalent
• Strong focus on operational excellence, reliability, and documentation
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in international teams
• Fluent English and French, both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10-20%)

• Experience with Kubernetes networking
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Git-based workflows
• Familiarity with ITSM processes and tools such as Jira
