Job description

The Senior Ecommerce Specialist owns Amazon and web marketing initiatives end to end across a portfolio of client brands. The role exists to drive measurable client growth through marketplace and digital channel strategy, not just execute tasks, but connect the work to business outcomes, identify where clients should go next, and make it happen with minimal oversight. The right person simplifies complex problems, leads through clarity, and operates as a strategic partner to both clients and internal leadership., Strategic Ownership & Project Leadership (~40%)

  • Own marketing projects from strategy through execution and post-mortem, sequencing priorities, and driving outcomes without needing the plan built for you
  • Translate client goals into actionable plans that tie directly to revenue, conversion, and growth metrics and articulate what worked, what didn’t, and what to change next
  • Build scalable, repeatable frameworks for recurring initiatives (peak season planning, product launches, content refreshes) so the team improves each cycle rather than starting from scratch
  • Proactively surface strategic opportunities across accounts

Amazon & Marketplace Growth (~30%)

  • Drive Amazon channel performance across multiple brands by connecting content, advertising, and promotional strategy to measurable sales and conversion outcomes
  • Stay ahead of evolving Amazon requirements and translate platform changes into client-facing recommendations that protect rankings, SEO, and discoverability
  • Plan and execute promotional strategies across peak and evergreen periods, with clear expectations set upfront and post-mortems that inform the next cycle
  • Operate fluently across Seller Central and Vendor Central, understanding how each model impacts pricing, content, and go-to-market decisions

Website & Digital Channel Strategy (~15%)

  • Lead or support website projects in an ecommerce context - defining requirements, coordinating with developers, and ensuring the end product drives the business outcomes it was built for
  • Connect Amazon, DTC, and web strategies into a cohesive growth picture for clients rather than treating each channel as a silo

Client Partnership & Team Collaboration (~15%)

  • Lead client marketing meetings with the credibility and preparation to build trust, drive decisions, and maintain momentum between calls
  • Communicate with responsiveness and clarity, acknowledge requests promptly, set timelines, and follow through so clients never wonder where things stand
  • Simplify complex projects into clear asks that make it easy for peers and cross-functional teams to collaborate

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in ecommerce marketing, Amazon channel management, or digital marketing with progressive ownership of strategy, not just execution
  • Hands-on Amazon experience across content, catalog, promotions, and advertising; Seller Central fluency required, Vendor Central strongly preferred
  • Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously in an agency or multi-client environment
  • Working knowledge of ecommerce website management (CMS platforms, site structure, product pages) - enough to lead a project and talk to developers, not necessarily write code
  • Analytical ability beyond vanity metrics - can explain what ROAS, conversion rate, and traffic quality mean for a client’s business and what to do about them
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with reporting and analytics tools (Canva, Power BI, Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics) preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to turn data into strategic recommendations, not just reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred

PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Thinks in outcomes, can articulate why work matters and what it should achieve before starting it
  • Bias for action paired with a bias for simplicity, moves quickly without overbuilding the path
  • Takes initiative on strategic opportunities without waiting for them to be handed over
  • Makes collaboration easy, peers want to work on your projects because the ask is clear and the path makes sense
  • Manages competing priorities through triage and proactive communication, not heroics
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and evolving platform requirements, adapts without losing momentum, * Bachelor’s (Preferred), * ecommerce marketing: 3 years (Required)
  • Amazon: 1 year (Required)
  • Magento: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Shopify: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Wilsonville, OR 97070 (Required)

Benefits & conditions

  • Competitive salary + Full benefits package, including medical/vision/dental, Short- & Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Accident Insurance, FSA, 401(k), PTO and Paid Holidays, * 401(k)
  • Dental insurance
  • Flexible schedule
  • Flexible spending account
  • Health insurance
  • Health savings account
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Referral program
  • Retirement plan
  • Vision insurance
