As a working student software engineer, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in developing modern applications, learn about new technologies and actively take responsibility for your own topics. Your tasks We are looking for enrolled students to support our team in Darmstadt from 01.01.2027 for at least 6 and a maximum of 24 months with up to 20 hours per week with the following tasks:

• Support in the development of modern software solutions in the B2B environment
• Collaboration on frontend, backend, or cloud applications
• Implementation of new features and optimization of existing functions
• Collaboration in automating development and deployment processes
• Carrying out tests and ensuring software quality
• Analysis of technical requirements and implementation together with the team
• Independent processing of a learning and development assignment with visible
• Cooperation with experienced software engineers, architects and product teams

• Ongoing master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a comparable degree program
• First practical experience in software development
• Knowledge of at least one modern programming language, e.g. Java, SQL, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#
• Basic knowledge of Git, CI/CD, CoPilot, VS Code, or cloud technologies is an advantage
• Analytical thinking and enthusiasm for technical challenges
• Initiative, willingness to learn and the ability to work in a team
• German and English at a good level (B2)
