Job description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be focused on creating new BI solutions using the Microsoft SQL Server BI Stack (Power BI, DAX queries, Power Query, etc.), as well as optimizing existing BI solutions. The BI Analyst will work across the organization to understand the business requirements and use his/her knowledge of BI to design insightful solutions. Using the business requirements, he/she will design data models that transform the necessary raw data, and create visualizations using Power BI to help the business access and make strategic use of the data., * Manage the design, development, and maintenance of reports using Power BI and other reporting and data transformation tools

  • Collaborate with various business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver insights without explicit direction
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret large datasets from various sources to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic business decisions
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, consistency, and validity of the data used for analysis
  • Maintain and improve existing reports that are deemed business critical
  • Compile and contribute to maintaining accurate supporting documentation
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies around data and advanced analytics.

Requirements

  • Strong business and technical acumen to be able to interact with business stakeholders and translate business needs into visual reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization platforms, preferably within the Microsoft stack
  • Strong ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and draw meaningful conclusions
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics
  • Focus on learning to stay updated with the latest data analytic tools, techniques and industry trends
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and liaising with development teams using Agile methodology
