Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated Integration Engineer with a strong background in software development and system integration to join our team in Plymouth, MA. This role focuses on integrating emerging technologies into operational systems, working across software, hardware, and sensing platforms.

The ideal candidate is primarily a software engineer with experience integrating complex systems, but also has a working understanding of electrical and hardware interfaces. Experience with RADAR systems or RF technologies is a strong plus.

This position requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to bring new capabilities from prototype to operational deployment.

  • Collaborating with management, departments, and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
  • Integrate new technologies and sensors into existing and next-generation systems
  • Develop and maintain software interfaces, APIs, and integration frameworks
  • Work closely with hardware and electrical engineers to interface with sensors and embedded systems
  • Perform system-level integration, testing, and troubleshooting
  • Support field testing, demonstrations, and operational deployments
  • Translate engineering prototypes into reliable integrated solutions
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining, and improving existing software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of background in software development and system integration.
  • Proficiency in Linux based software development (Ubuntu is a plus).
  • Proficiency in popular coding languages including Python and JavaScript with frameworks or systems such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a small team and independently as required.
  • Development of next-generation operational systems.
  • Mobile Ad-hoc Networking (MANET) experience.
  • Experience with RF systems and computer networking.
  • Experience programming with AI models.
  • Experience supporting field tests or hardware demonstrations.
