IT Support Engineer - Contract - Windows, M365, Intune

We’re looking for an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a growing business in Coleshill on an initial one-month rolling contract. You’ll be the hands-on, on-site support for around 85 users across office and warehouse teams. It suits a contractor who can pick up a Microsoft-based environment quickly and resolve most issues at first contact., This is a visible role within a small IT function. Most users are warehouse-based and rely on systems linked to ERP and shipping processes, so you’ll need to judge operational impact and prioritise accordingly. You’ll cover 1st and 2nd line support across Windows, Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune, plus remote support for hybrid users., * Supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 users, including account administration

• Managing users and devices in Entra ID, and building, deploying and managing devices through Intune
• Troubleshooting connectivity problems, including IP conflicts and DHCP/DNS issues
• Supporting PCs, laptops, printers and label printers used in warehouse and shipping operations
• Logging, prioritising and owning tickets through to resolution within SLA
• Supporting hybrid users remotely via TeamViewer

• Recent experience as an IT Support Engineer, Senior Service Desk Engineer or in a similar 2nd line role
• Strong hands-on Windows, Microsoft 365 and Intune experience
• Sound networking fundamentals
• Comfortable supporting operational and warehouse users, and working independently from day one
• ITIL v4 knowledge and some Linux exposure are beneficial but not essential

Tech stack: Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, ManageEngine ServiceDesk Plus, TeamViewer, MFA, Cyber Essentials Plus

• £190 - £200 per day, Inside IR35 (Umbrella or Limited Company)
• Rolling contract after the initial month
• 7.5-hour day between 8:00am and 5:30pm
• The go-to on-site support role in a small IT team
