Senior Network Engineer

• Providing first and second line network support via ServiceNow incidents and requests
• Installing, configuring and maintaining routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points
• Maintaining Cisco ISE, Infoblox, Cisco WLC, LiveNX and HPE Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN
• Delivering network projects including hardware refreshes, legacy replacement and new site commissioning
• Supporting connectivity for manufacturing and OT systems, including CNC equipment
• Raising and carrying out changes in line with ITIL processes and keeping network documentation up to date

• CCNA as a minimum, CCNP preferred
• Around 5 years’ experience in network engineering with a strong Cisco routing and switching background
• Good knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), WAN, MPLS and VPN technologies
• Firewall and network security experience, ideally Cisco ASA and/or Palo Alto
• Experience of SD-WAN (ideally Aruba EdgeConnect / Silver Peak), Cisco ISE or wireless design is desirable
• Full UK driving licence for occasional travel to UK sites

• Up to £465 per day (Inside IR35, paid via PAYE)
• 25 days paid holiday plus Bank holidays
• Monday to Friday, site based in Sandiacre, Nottingham
• Contract covering a secondment 12 month contract.
• Mix of BAU support and hands-on infrastructure project work
• Exposure to enterprise, data centre, cloud and manufacturing OT networks
• Part of a supportive UK IT team within a large global group
