Google Workspace Engineer

A client in the entertainment industry is seeking a Sr. Google Workspace Engineer to support the buildout of a new Google Workspace tenant and migration of production teams from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace. This resource will help configure the tenant, establish enterprise security policies, integrate Google Workspace with Okta, and build configuration-as-code pipelines through GitHub to automate changes, maintain version control, and enable auditing and rollback. They will also support future Microsoft 365 and Box migrations while helping create a scalable Google Workspace environment that can be replicated across additional business units. This is a 4-month contract with possible extension/conversion and 4 days per week onsite in Culver City, CA.

5+ years of Google Workspace engineering/administration experience Deep expertise configuring and managing enterprise Google Workspace tenants Strong knowledge of Google Workspace security policies and controls Hands-on integration of Google Workspace / Google Identity with Okta Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code Ability to build automated configuration pipelines using GitHub for version control, auditing, and rollback Background supporting Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace migrations Familiarity with CIS Level 1 security benchmarks Box to Google Shared Drive migration experience Knowledge of Microsoft 365 mail migration tools and processes Background supporting complex contractor or temporary workforce identities Media, entertainment, or production technology experience
