Test Automation Engineer

• Experience in software testing (automation or hybrid QA roles).

• Proficiency in Java programming fundamentals.

• Experience with Playwright for functional and regression testing.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Basic understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.

• Basic knowledge of test frameworks (e.g., TestNG or JUnit).

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Zephyr).

Desirable:

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to cross-browser and responsive UI validation.

• Familiarity with enterprise-level web platforms.

• Participation in sprint planning, story refinement, and QA estimation.

• Ownership of test planning and execution for assigned features.

• Ability to provide clear, actionable test results and defect reports.

• Contribution to continuous improvement in testing processes.

• Familiarity with maintaining test frameworks, environments, and reporting tools.
