Job description
You’ll work closely with engineering and platform teams to embed security by design, enhance web application protection, improve cloud security posture, and defend against evolving application-layer threats.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in Cyber Security, Cloud Security or Application Security
- Strong knowledge of Web Application Firewalls (WAF) and API security
- Experience with bot mitigation and protection against automated attacks
- AWS and/or GCP security expertise
- Understanding of IAM, network security, logging and monitoring
- Ability to work collaboratively with DevOps, engineering and platform teams
- Experience conducting security assessments, threat modelling and risk remediation
Desirable:
- Cloudflare, Akamai, Imperva or similar WAF technologies
- DevSecOps and secure-by-design practices
- Automation and scripting experience
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, Security+ or equivalent
