Job description
The Database Sustainment Specialist (DSS) will be located within and support their respective site. The DSS shall participate with government personnel Facility Management Team meetings, as necessary. New DSS must receive initial comprehensive DMLSS classroom training designated by the DMLSS Training Manager. DSS specialists must take web-based training and any available DCO training provided by the Government to include BUILDER. Each DSS must be prepared to travel to remote locations that are directly supported by their respective DMLSS servers.
- Create, maintain, and update DMLSS-FM Inventories
- Maintain DMLSS- FM Project Management Module
- Maintain DMLSS-FM Requirement Management Module
- Support Regulatory Compliance/The Joint Commission
- Support work Request, Preventative Maintenance, and Real Property Installed Equipment
- Maintain Preventative Maintenance Program
- On-site Operations and Maintenance Support
- Support miscellaneous DMLSS-FM functions
- Support Drawing Management
Requirements
Do you have experience in Time management?, * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products with proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Must be able to demonstrate effective decision-making abilities
- Customer service oriented
- The ability to work confidently in a results-oriented environment
- Must be US Citizen
- Must be eligible to obtain security clearance
Preferred:
- DMLSS experience is desirable but not mandatory; Training will be provided
- Two years’ database management experience preferred but not required
- Working knowledge, familiarity, or background in medical facilities management is desirable
