Our key client is looking for a Data Engineer/DataStage Developer to join on a 12 month+ on going contract as remote worker with occasional travel to a site in London.

Inside IR35 - Umbrella Please note BPSS will be conducted and then SC - must have 5 years continuous UK residency for eligibility - SC Clearance is preferred.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing & maintaining DataStage pipelines, utilising their expertise in data integration & manipulation, to transform data from the source to the client MAS target model.

Your Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, develop, & maintain DataStage pipelines to support the client project. - Apply your knowledge of MOSAIC or 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure efficient data migration processes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements & deliver solutions that meet business needs. - Utilise key technologies such as DataStage, XML, XSLT, & Jira for effective project management & issue tracking.

Required skills:

MUST BE A UK NATIONAL with a minimum of 5 years residency Proven experience in DataStage Designer. - Familiarity with MOSAIC, 10-step Data Migration Methodologies or equivalent data migration methodologies. - Strong proficiency in XML & XSLT for data transformation tasks. - Proficient use of Jira for project management & issue tracking. - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. - A proactive approach to problem-solving & a commitment to continuous learning & improvement - Ability to test the solution and run jobs
