Quality Assurance Tester

The QA / Test Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, executing, and maintaining testing processes across web applications, APIs, and backend systems. The role involves manual and automated testing, identifying and reporting defects, validating system performance, and collaborating with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality software. The successful candidate will help improve testing practices, strengthen test automation, and ensure applications meet business requirements and quality standards., * Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.

• Test web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and database interactions.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
• Perform API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
• Validate data using SQL queries.
• Identify, document, track, and retest software defects.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform performance, compatibility, and basic security testing where required.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to improve software quality.

• At least five years of professional QA or software testing experience.
• Strong manual testing and test case design skills.
• Experience with API testing and SQL.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Desirable Skills

• Performance testing with JMeter or k6.
• AWS or Azure experience.
• CI/CD pipeline integration.
• JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or C#.
• ISTQB certification preferred optional
• Experience working in Agile or project-based environments
