Software Engineer

Join a specialist cyber security team developing innovative hardware and software that protects critical networks across defence, national security, energy and the public sector. You’ll work on in-house technology with real-world impact, alongside a small, collaborative team focused on solving complex security challenges. What you’ll be doing

• Developing and improving specialist network security products.
• Writing high-quality software using modern C++ or Rust.
• Working across Linux applications, embedded systems, networking and cloud technologies.
• Contributing to technical design and problem-solving across the development lifecycle.
• Collaborating through Agile practices, including test-driven development and pair programming.

• Around 2-5 years’ software engineering experience.
• Experience with modern C++ and STL, or Rust.
• Ideally, exposure to Python, Linux, embedded systems, real-time protocols, cloud or network security.
• A collaborative approach, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to writing clean, testable code.
• Eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
