AI, Full-stack Development & Digital Operations /IT

We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on AI, Full-Stack Development & Digital Operations Manager to oversee and improve the technology and digital operations of several businesses.

This is a varied role for someone who combines strong technical development skills with commercial awareness, creativity and a practical understanding of how technology can improve business performance.

You will take responsibility for developing and maintaining websites and web applications, managing AWS infrastructure, implementing AI-powered automations, improving SEO, managing CRM systems and supporting digital marketing and creative production.

We are looking for someone proactive and independent who can move confidently between technical development, cloud infrastructure, AI tools, digital marketing and content creation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Full-Stack Development * Develop, maintain and improve websites and web applications. * Manage frontend and backend development, databases, APIs and third-party integrations. * Troubleshoot technical issues and improve performance, reliability and user experience. * Manage hosting, backups, security updates and software maintenance.

2. CRM Systems & Business Operations * Build, customise and maintain CRM systems. * Manage customer databases, leads, sales pipelines and automated workflows. * Integrate CRMs with websites, email platforms, payment systems and other business tools. * Develop reporting dashboards and improve operational efficiency.

3. Amazon AWS & Cloud Infrastructure * Deploy and maintain applications, backend services and databases on AWS. * Manage cloud architecture, access permissions, security, monitoring and backups. * Support deployments, investigate production issues and maintain system reliability. * Monitor cloud expenditure and identify opportunities to improve security, performance and cost efficiency.

4. AI, Automation & Emerging Technology * Use AI coding assistants and AI APIs to accelerate development and improve productivity. * Build AI-powered workflows, agents and business process automations. * Implement tools such as n8n, Make and Zapier. * Identify opportunities to apply AI across customer service, administration, marketing, reporting and business operations. * Research and implement useful new technologies.

5. SEO & Website Growth * Manage SEO strategy and implementation across multiple websites. * Conduct keyword research and improve technical SEO, site structure, metadata, page speed, indexing and structured data. * Use Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 to monitor performance. * Improve content quality, internal linking, local SEO and Google Business Profiles. * Use AI tools responsibly to support content creation and optimisation. * Track rankings, organic traffic, enquiries, leads and conversions.

6. Social Media Management * Manage Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube accounts. * Plan content calendars and oversee regular publishing. * Create engaging content and manage audience interaction. * Monitor analytics, engagement and campaign performance.

7. Video Production & Editing * Produce and edit promotional videos, social media reels, YouTube Shorts and other digital content. * Create subtitles, voiceovers, branded videos and marketing assets. * Use professional editing software and AI-assisted video tools.

8. Graphic Design & Creative Content * Create website graphics, social media posts, advertising creatives, banners and thumbnails. * Develop branded visual assets for websites, campaigns and digital platforms. * Maintain consistency across different brands and marketing channels., Days 1-30: Audit existing websites, applications, AWS infrastructure, CRM systems, integrations, SEO, social media accounts and digital workflows. Identify risks, priorities and opportunities.

Days 31-60: Address priority technical and security issues, introduce initial automations, improve SEO foundations and establish reporting and performance measures.

Days 61-90: Deliver agreed development projects, demonstrate measurable improvements and present a six-to-twelve-month technology and digital growth roadmap.

Performance & Objectives

Performance will be assessed against agreed objectives, including:

• Website and application reliability.

• Social media campaigns, videos and graphic design work.

We are particularly interested in candidates who can combine technical expertise, AI-driven innovation and digital growth to make a tangible difference across multiple businesses.

• Strong full-stack web development experience.
• Practical backend programming, database and API integration skills.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS and cloud-hosted applications.
• Experience building, configuring or integrating CRM systems.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools, APIs and workflow automation.
• Strong SEO knowledge and experience with Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
• Social media management and digital content production experience.
• Video editing and graphic design skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, project management and organisational abilities.

Desirable: Experience with Next.js, React, Node.js, MySQL, cloud security, CI/CD pipelines, AI application development and analytics dashboards, Practical software and application development capabilities, including front-end development, JavaScript, APIs, REST, SQL and Git, will help you deliver and maintain useful systems. Preferred: Experience with AI-related development, Java, C#, C, C++, Python, Ruby on Rails,.NET, MySQL, AWS, Azure, Linux, GitHub, SVN or VBA can broaden the range of projects you support.
