ICT/Security Designer (Cabling, Fibre and Security)

• Design structured cabling systems, including copper and fibre optic networks for data centre environments.
• Develop and integrate electronic security system designs - including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and technical drawings using industry-standard tools (AutoCAD/Revit).
• Coordinate with architectural, electrical, and MEP teams to ensure seamless integration of ICT and security designs.
• Conduct design reviews and technical assessments to ensure compliance with relevant standards and client requirements.
• Provide design support during installation and commissioning phases.
• Maintain awareness of current data centre standards, emerging technologies, and sustainability considerations.

We are seeking an experienced ICT/Security Designer with strong data centre experience focused on cabling, fibre, and physical security systems. The successful candidate will support the design and delivery of robust ICT and security infrastructure solutions for large-scale data centre projects., * Proven experience in ICT and security design for data centre projects (essential).

• Strong technical knowledge of copper and fibre cabling systems, containment, and routing design.
• Experience designing and specifying physical security systems (CCTV, access control, intercoms, etc.).
• Skilled in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as TIA/EIA, BICSI, and BS EN standards.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with experience working in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical, ICT, or Building Services Engineering preferred., * Data Centre: 2 years (preferred)
• ICT Design : 4 years (preferred)
