SAP Plant Maintenance Functional Consultant

Act as a key SAP PM/MRO consultant driving the digital transformation from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA within aviation engine manufacturing and maintenance operations.

• Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, translating business goals into scalable SAP S/4HANA Asset Management solutions.
• Design and implement transition strategies, including data bridging and operational workarounds during phased SAP rollouts.
• Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and blueprinting sessions for robust, compliant asset management processes.
• Execute expert configuration of SAP PM/EAM modules, including Technical Objects, Functional Locations, Equipment Master Data, and Work Centers.
• Architect and manage end-to-end maintenance processes, including Maintenance Orders, Notifications, and preventive Maintenance Plans.
• Define and build complex technical asset hierarchies using Equipment BOMs and Functional Location BOMs.
• Integrate SAP PM with related modules (MM, PP, QM) and external platforms (PLM, CAD, MES) for seamless operations.
• Configure and optimize MRO subcontracting and refurbishment processes for engine repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance processes comply with aviation regulatory standards (CAA, EASA, FAA, ITAR, AS9100).
• Establish robust serialization, batch management, and equipment history tracking for full component traceability.
• Enforce Clean Core principles by leveraging standard SAP functionalities and minimizing customizations.
• Advise on adoption of advanced asset management technologies such as SAP Asset Manager and predictive maintenance.
• Collaborate with architects, data migration leads, and systems integrators for data standards and cutover planning.
• Prepare and maintain business blueprints, configuration documents, testing scripts, and training materials.
• Bring 10+ years of SAP PM/EAM experience in complex enterprise environments, with deep knowledge of aerospace MRO processes.
• Demonstrate expertise in leading full lifecycle SAP implementations, particularly ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
• Apply Agile and SAP Activate methodologies to project delivery.

SAP S/4HANA Asset Management certification.

• Experience in aligning SAP PM with engineering structures.
• Knowledge of Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and FMEA.
