Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and system integrations.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end features, contributing to React-based UI development when required.
- Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
- Design data models, optimize database queries, and work with both relational and non-relational databases.
- Contribute to system architecture, participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement reliability improvements.
- Work closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in backend engineering with exposure to full-stack development.
- Strong proficiency in server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or similar frameworks.
- Experience building RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, and working with microservices architectures.
- Solid knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with React.js, including hooks, component architecture, and state management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
