Microsoft Windows Administrator (Contract-to-Hire)

• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, and related operating systems; manage DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewall, and load-balancing configurations.
• Monitor system performance, tune systems, troubleshoot incidents, and provide technical troubleshooting support across servers, networks, and applications.
• Manage RAID controllers, storage, configuration management, automation, scripting, and server backup and recovery.
• Support software implementation, administration, and troubleshooting; contribute to system design, solution architecture, and systems engineering.
• Your impact: Reliable administration and recovery practices help teams maintain access to the systems and applications they need.

• Essential: Hands-on Windows Server administration, system administration, storage management, computer management, information security, and computer networking experience.
• Essential: Skills in automation, scripting, system tuning, performance tuning, system troubleshooting, and software administration.
• Preferred: Exposure to Azure, Linux, Bash (Unix shell), shell scripting, Git, JavaScript, Java, MySQL, PostgreSQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, and NoSQL.
• Preferred: Familiarity with service-oriented architecture, microservices, RESTful API (application programming interface), Pegasystems, software development life cycle (SDLC), and system architecture.
• Computer science education or related experience is helpful; knowledge of virtualization and broader IT systems is valued.

This is a contract-to-hire role. After roughly six months on contract, a successful candidate will be converted to a full-time employee.
