Data Center Controls Engineer

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Sr. Controls Engineer to design, implement, and optimize control systems that power global data center capacity. You will develop PLC/SCADA/BMS solutions, integrate monitoring and alarming, and ensure resilient, efficient operation of critical power and cooling infrastructure. Partner with cross-functional teams to define requirements, review designs, support commissioning, and drive continuous improvement using data. In AWS’s customer-obsessed, innovative culture, you’ll own large-scale, complex projects, influence global standards, and learn cutting-edge cloud and automation technologies., * Design and develop PLC/SCADA/BMS control strategies for data center capacity systems

• Integrate control systems with monitoring, alarming, and data analytics platforms
• Support commissioning, testing, and validation of new data center capacity projects
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and operations teams to define control requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex controls and automation issues in live environments
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and best practices
• Analyze performance data to drive reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement
• Influence global design standards for AWS data center control systems
