C++ Object Oriented Engineer

• Design and develop C++ control software for high-precision semiconductor equipment and automated machinery.
• Analyze software requirements and translate functional needs into detailed designs and technical specifications.
• Implement and unit test new functionality while troubleshooting defects in simulations and physical equipment.
• Develop software platforms, infrastructure, architecture, and reusable components for complex control systems.
• Own software modules, define technical roadmaps, and guide developers through implementation and maintenance.
• Collaborate across engineering teams to support equipment demonstrations, qualification, and customer acceptance.

• 5 years or more of experience in C++ software development for complex, large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, object-oriented analysis, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
• Experience with multithreading, real-time software design, concurrency, and performance-critical applications.
• Experience with STL, Boost, COM/DCOM, software architecture, and reusable component development.
• Experience with Python, Tcl/Tk, SDLC, unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
