Sr. Solutions Architect

If so, this Sr. Solutions Architect opportunity could be a great fit for you! Farm Bureau Financial Services is looking for a Sr. Solutions Architect who can support enterprise system activities. You will help guide the development and management of an organizational portfolio of solutions. As a Sr. Solutions Architect, you can make measurable impacts to the business and help shape the future of Farm Bureau. What You Will Do:

• Assist with formation of enterprise technology guidance including guiding principles and architecture guardrails, and influence adoption of that guidance.
• Support company and departmental initiatives, including portfolio management, analytical insight, proactive solution planning, strategic execution, quality assurance, and information sharing with business partners.
• Partner across IT and business teams on cost benefit analysis of solutions and tool sets and provides input to budget process.
• Help manage the technology portfolio and assist with oversight of the technology ecosystem at Farm Bureau.
• Work with external vendors molding strategic direction of vendor systems to support the strategic direction of Farm Bureau.
• Research, design and implement new initiatives to improve analysis, design, and development tools with opportunities for efficiency and automation in mind.
• Collaborate closely with business partners and IT team to evaluate requests for new systems, applications, product standards and services.

Information Technology & Information Systems, Technical Strategy, Financial Services, Organizational Development/Management, Technical Leadership, Investment Management, Quality Assurance, Strategic Planning, Portfolio Analysis, Cost Benefit Analysis, * College degree (Computer Science or software engineering preferred) or equivalent plus 7 years progressive relevant experience required.
