About the company

Job DescriptionAbout the RoleYotta Energy is the leading-edge solar storage solution. We simplify solar energy storage using decentralized, panel-level storage and optimize energy efficiency with intelligent software. Through our flagship product, SolarLEAF , we’ve pioneered a modular storage solution with smart thermal regulation that integrates behind each photovoltaic (PV) panel while maximizing the life and performance of the battery. Unlike fixed storage centers, SolarLEAF lets you expand solar + storage microgrids in minutes. Yotta Energy has since added YB-1 (Yotta Block) to our list of products.

Yotta Energy is looking for a Senior Test Engineer to lead test and validation for firmware and embedded systems that power our distributed solar + storage products. You will own the test strategy end to end: designing firmware validation and regression test cases, building and maintaining automated test scripts in Visual Studio Code, and guiding a small team of test engineers and technicians.

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will write code and run tests alongside your team, manage test work in Jira, and partner closely with firmware, hardware, and product teams to make sure every release ships with confidence.Key ResponsibilitiesTest Automation

  • Build and maintain Python/pytest test scripts and frameworks in Visual Studio Code that drive devices over serial, CAN, Modbus, Ethernet, and wireless interfaces.
  • Integrate test suites into CI/CD so they run on every firmware build, managed in Git with peer code reviews., Why Join Yotta Energy At Yotta Energy you won’t be one of many, you’ll be a key leader helping define how our operations scale. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership, build high-performing teams, and directly impact the growth of a fast-moving clean energy company.
